I trained, qualified and spent some time with a national driving school before leaving to set up S J P Driving School to provide driving lessons in and around the Portsmouth area.

I am Portsmouth born and bred. I have been married for over 35 years and we have 4 children. I spent many years working in the motor trade and also owning and running a local Newsagents before becoming a Driving Instructor.

My lessons are always conducted in a calm, patient and friendly manner…. so I won’t shout at you! I believe that all students learn at a different pace and therefore your lessons will be adapted to your needs and ability whether you are a complete beginner, partially trained or just in need of refresher lessons. I am passionate about road safety and believe safe driving should be for life…not just to pass the driving test.
